Lidl's wine buying team are good at sourcing good-value claret, and this Médoc cru bourgeois ticks a lot of boxes. It has good typicity, with some spice from the oak ageing, black fruits and some more savoury, meaty flavours. A solid everyday wine with an attractive exuberance.
